What's new - news 1Local Window manufacturer Ducana Windows and Doors Ltd. no longer in business (January 2012) On Tuesday January 3rd, we were informed that a local manufacturer in the business had locked its doors and closed down. We knew many of the people there, and all of us here at Elite extend our sympathies to everyone who lost their jobs. During these tough times, especially after Christmas, this hardship wouldn't be wished on anyone. We also feel bad for anyone who may have an outstanding order with Ducana. When a substantial deposit may be lost, that is a very tough pill to swallow. With that in mind, our window manufacturer Vinyl Window Designs has offered to help us do everything we can to help out Ducana customers left in "limbo". Anyone out there that finds themselves in this situation is welcome to bring in a copy of their original order to see what we can do to complete that purchase for them. We will do our very best to try to absorb the deposit so no more money is required, but of course, cannot guarantee that this will be possible. We need to look at each persons order on a case by case basis, and collaborate with V.W.D to work out the best possible outcome to help each customer get what they originally paid for. With the help of our suppliers, Elite Windows and Doors will do our best to be there to help out those in need.
